Sidney is from Quincy, IL where she graduated from Quincy Senior High School. She was a four-year varsity player, earning Western Big 6 first team 2 years, all academic, and team captain for 2 years. After graduating, she attended Parkland College for two seasons where her teams finished 4th and 2nd in the nation. She finished with her bachelors at the U of I and currently works at Wolfram Research as well as an assistant coach with the Parkland College volleyball team.
