Santiago Camacho

Santiago is entering his third season coaching for Prime Time Volleyball Club at the high school level, and his third overall. During the 2017-2018 High School club season he was the head coach for 16 White, and during the 2017 Middle School club season, he was the head coach for 14 White.

Aside from coaching for Prime Time, Santiago was Centennial High School  Freshman coach during the 2018 High School season, and he previously volunteered during the 2017 High School season with the Chargers.

As a player, Santiago played for four years at Colegio San Carlos in Bogota, Colombia from where his team took a total of 4 UNCOLI championships including an undefeated 2006-2007 season. He also played two years club and one year varsity at Universidad de los Andes. Santiago still plays indoor and sand volleyball leagues and tournaments. Outside of volleyball he obtained his Ph.D. in Mathematics last winter and has worked as a Visiting Professor at Illinois Wesleyan University, and a Mathematics Teaching Associate at Uni High.
